Friday I went to an event to learn about the ancient art of face reading. The Chinese believed it to be a form of divination and used it in Match making or job hiring. They thought that the shape of a face not only displayed personality but hinted events in someone’s life. (Since this person’s face is squared, something must had happened to make them the agreeable person they are today who seeks to bring comfort to everyone.)
For writing purposes I found this event to be helpful in character creating. It will be an excellent visual aid when describing a person both physically and mentally. Almost immediately you will know the kind of person a character is from knowing a few traits from face reading.
